Six layers, working together

Lunation is knitted in six purposeful layers. Closest to the skin, an aloe vera fibre layer (cotton, aloe fibre and a little elastane) is soft and breathable. Beneath it, bamboo and ginger-derived fibre layers help wick moisture away.

An absorbent core and a waterproof organic cotton leak-proof layer do the work of holding flow and helping prevent leaks, while a fine recycled-polyamide lace and a breathable outer layer keep the whole garment comfortable and discreet under clothes.

Protection is built into the fabric construction itself rather than relying on disposable inserts — so there is nothing extra to add, and nothing to throw away after a single use.
